Bambiraptor feinberghi Life-Sized Skeleton
Bring the fascinating world of the Cretaceous into your collection with this scientifically accurate Bambiraptor feinberghi skeleton. This detailed reconstruction represents one of the most complete (potentially juvenile) raptors ever discovered and has been carefully created with anatomical precision, making it an excellent choice for museums, classrooms, and private collectors who value authenticity and education.
Bambiraptor feinberghi was a small but remarkable predator, measuring only about one meter in length. Despite its size, this agile hunter played a huge role in palaeontology by offering critical evidence for the evolutionary connection between dinosaurs and modern birds. Its long arms, flexible wrists, and sharp claws suggest it was a capable climber and predator, while its sickle-shaped claw on each foot made it highly specialized for capturing prey.
This Bambiraptor feinberghi skeleton is more than just a model—it is a tool for discovery. It highlights the unique features of this species, including its lightweight frame, bird-like wishbone, and enlarged braincase that suggest agility and intelligence. Perfect as a teaching aid or display piece, it captures the essence of one of the most scientifically important raptors ever found.
Whether you are an educator, palaeontology enthusiast, or collector, this Bambiraptor feinberghi skeleton brings prehistoric life into the present in a way that is both educational and inspiring.
Length of model is 85cm, height is 45.5cm width is 17.5cm and the “snout to tail” measurement (meaning if the neck and tail were in an unnatural, straightened pose) is 100cm.
Our basic product offering comes in two forms:
A raw, unpainted kit made from PLA and brass dowels. If you select this form, you will receive a ready to articulate, but unfinished assembly. The model will require the gluing of five joints, which we recommend doing after painting. The rest will have pre-interested brass dowels for easy assembly. It will come un-primed and will require painting/weathering. Each kit will come with a set of basic instructions and material recommendations.
A finished model which has been painted, weathered and varnished (to protect paint job). It will be shipped unarticulated, however basic assembly instructions will be included. Time required for assembly: under 10 minutes.
