VISITORS TO THE WEBSITE

We do not collect information about visitors to the website other than completely anonymous data regarding general visitor numbers and the countries in which they are located.

When you buy something from us, only your contact details are collected and stored securely on our website.

We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website and payment processing services to us.

As you go through checkout, this site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.

We do not collect your payment details if you have paid by card or Paypal. If you have commissioned work from us and pay via bank transfer, we do not keep anything other than your name, email and address. Where we have paper records of your contact details (from orders placed at markets or in person) I will keep them in a folder in a locked drawer in our home studio. We will hold your data for a maximum of 3 years and may from time to time email you with information that we feel you will be interested in, such as special offers, to keep you updated with the progress of a bespoke piece or to ask for your permission to share the artwork on social media platforms. We will only contact you if we have a legitimate reason to do so. The information that we send you will only be relevant to the goods/service that you purchased from us, and will not be used in any other form. 

MAILING LISTS

We would like to send you up to date news, offers and information as part of our semi regular e-newsletter.  To do this, we will need some personal information from you – your email address and your name. We use this data to email you about events, blogs, new products and special offers. We may also contact you to check we have your correct information, or to check you are happy still receiving content from us. We will never give, sell, trade or rent any of your data to or with other organisations or businesses.
 
We use a third party provider, Squarespace, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. We will not use the data you give us to subscribe to our newsletter in any other way. It will not be saved on any other system aside from the Squarespace list you signed up for, and we will not transfer it to any other lists unless you allow us to do so.
 
You have the option to unsubscribe at any time to our e-newsletter, either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing exetinct@gmail.com
 
Once you have chosen to unsubscribe from our emails, we will delete all data we have on you and it will be removed from our system permanently (unless you have purchased something, in which case your information will be held as per the terms above).

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

There may be links on our website to other sites we feel you may have an interest in, or sites we recommend for services. This privacy notice does not cover those links and those sites are not governed by this Privacy Notice. If you have questions about how those sites use your data, please check their privacy notice.

ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you are a resident of the European Union or the United Kingdom, you are entitled to access the personal information we hold on you. Contact us via the ‘contact us’ page and we will respond to your request within 14 days.

HOLDING YOUR DATA

We will hold your data for a maximum of 3 years unless you tell us a) that you would like us to remove it from our system or b) you would like your data to be retained for longer. We will always inform you either way and you will always have a choice as to whether we retain your data or delete it. We will not do anything with your data that you do not consent to.
