Lyme Regis Fossil Festival

Hey everyone! We just wanted to say that we will be taking part in the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival.

For those of you unfamiliar with what it is, it is well….a fossil festival - but so much more. Taking place every year since 2005 in Lyme Regis (obviously) this festival is full of fantastic, friendly vendors and loads of educational talks and workshops. If you are generally a fan of prehistoric life, it is definitely one for the list.

Because it takes place in June - along a gorgeous beach no less - it is also a great time. Last year (2025) we went as a family and the kids and adults switched between having fun and swimming on the beach and going to the talks. Lyme Regis also has a plethora of independent shops and restaurants which make it a great day out. So yeah….go. It is low cost, well done and there are lots of things to do!

We aren’t bringing loads of product, but what we are bringing are some of our showcase items - a 90cm barinasuchus from Kex Studio, a life-sized great auk by Ancient Era Artistry among others.
